Monocacy Valley Montessori Public Charter School is a Frederick County public charter school serving students from Pre-K3 through Grade 8. Families considering MVMPCS should review the Montessori program, daily routines, transportation expectations, before and after care options, and the parent commitment that supports the school community.
Tours and Questions
MVMPCS offers opportunities for prospective and incoming families to learn about the Montessori program, tour the school, and ask questions about enrollment. Tour dates will be posted on the school calendar. Please call the office if you have further questions.
How Enrollment Works
Admission to MVMPCS is handled through the MMCI enrollment and lottery process. FCPS charter regulations and Maryland law govern the lottery and acceptance process. The lottery is open for the current school year, and new applicants are added to the end of the queue for the grade level they enter.
Next School Year
The lottery for SY 2027-2028 will open in January. Exact dates will be announced later.
